Council urges reforms in FYROM

The General Affairs Council adopted, on 23 June, conclusions dealing with the ongoing political crisis in the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM), a candidate country for EU accession. The exact wording was once again subject to lengthy discussions, mainly due to semantic issues raised by the Greek delegation, a Council source told Europolitics.
