After a delay of almost six months, a new pipeline linking up the Hungarian and Slovak high-pressure gas transport systems will be open for commercial flows from 1 July, the Slovak system operator Eustream has confirmed.
“I am convinced that we will meet the 1 July deadline,” Milan Sedláček, director for commercial and regulatory affairs at Eustream, told Europolitics on the sidelines of a recent energy trading conference in Budapest.
