Post-Arenh regulation : what has been decided and what remains to be decided

On 14 November, the government and EDF presented the framework for the future regulation of French nuclear electricity. Planned to replace Arenh (regulated access to historical nuclear electricity) on 1ᵉʳ January 2026, the mechanism still has many grey areas, which a public consultation is due to clarify. The government intends to translate the mechanism into the energy production law, which it will present in early 2024.

After months of discussions behind closed doors, it's time for "honesty", decides Bruno Le Maire.
